How to Subscribe to Posts on This Website

If you would like to receive an email notification whenever a new post is published on South Coast View, you can subscribe using the quick subscription form found on any post or at the bottom of this page.

Below is a brief guide on how the subscription process works and what to expect.

What Happens When You Subscribe to Posts on This Website?

1. Enter Your Email: Type your email address into the subscription box and click Subscribe.
2. Thank You Page Redirect: You will immediately be redirected to my Thank You page confirming that your submission was received.
3. Confirmation Email Sent: Within a few moments, an automated confirmation email will arrive in your inbox.
4. Confirm Your Subscription: Click or tap the Confirm link in that email to activate your subscription.

Note: Clicking the confirmation link completes your sign-up and creates a free, secure WordPress.com account, allowing you to manage or cancel your subscription at any time.

I Haven’t Received the Confirmation Email – What Should I Do?

If the confirmation email doesn’t appear in your inbox within a few minutes, please check your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folder:

• If found in Spam or Junk: Mark the email as “Not Spam” (or move it to your main Inbox). This ensures future post notifications reach your inbox without issue.
• If using Gmail or Outlook: Check your Promotions or Other tab and move the email to your primary tab.

Why Does Subscribing Create a WordPress.com Account?

This website uses Jetpack, a tool developed by WordPress.com (Automattic), to deliver post notifications securely and reliably.

You do not need to do anything with this account. It simply acts as a background account management tool so that you can easily update your email preferences or unsubscribe at any time in the future.

Still Having Difficulty Subscribing?

If you run into any issues or cannot locate your confirmation email, please reach out via the contact page with your email address. I will be happy to add you to the subscriber list manually.
