The Three Tees Agency – The 2026 Reunion

The Three Tees Agency

A Warm Invitation to Our Reunion

We warmly invite everyone who has been a part of the agency, whether employed permanently or temporarily, attended the school’s telex training, or was a valued client who built lasting connections with us. The reunion is not just for those who knew our director, Janet Day, as the business obviously continued after she left,  but we are planning this as a surprise for her!

The Reunion Details

Saturday, 3rd October, 2026

We are going for Saturday, 3rd October, 2026, at The Punch Tavern, 99 Fleet Street, London EC4Y 1DE, from midday to 3-ish.  We will be holding it in The Editor’s Suite, which is rather fitting, as after Mr Derek Munro-Peebles’s (our founder) military career, he was a journalist. The reunion will have a cash bar with a finger buffet.

A History of The Three Tees Agency

The Three Tees Agency was founded by Mr Derek Munro-Peebles on 1 January 1963, when it was granted its first licence to operate (at a cost of 30 bob).

Weekday opening hours were then 8am–9pm, with a short day of 9-5 on Saturday and Sunday for typing invoices at home. The agency’s offices were based in 4 square yards of an estate agents office underneath the arches in Farringdon Street, London.
