Worthing Fundraiser for Ukraine’s Border Guards and UAV Units

Many residents in Worthing will recognise Yaroslava Matvieienko. Whether she was singing with the Songs For Ukraine Chorus, participating in Ukrainian Culture Day at Worthing Museum, or standing draped in her national flag at Worthing Town Hall for the anniversary day of the invasion of Ukraine, Yaroslava has become a vital part of our local community.

To me, she is also a friend with whom I have stood at the Worthing War Memorial to plant crosses for every British defender who has lost their life in Ukraine. Now, Yaroslava is asking for our help to support those fighting for survival in Ukraine.

The Oleksandr Tereshchenko Charity Foundation will buy the charging station for Ukrainian border guards and UAV units.

Please join us in making a real difference. This fundraiser aims to raise £1,202 for a high-capacity portable charging station that Ukraine urgently needs now.

In Ukraine, where Yaroslava’s family still lives, the energy infrastructure is under constant strain. A charging station is not a luxury; it is a lifeline that provides heat, light, and communication when the grid goes dark.
