The Ukrainian Culture Day celebrations took place at Worthing Museum & Gallery on Saturday 25 November 2023.
This celebration of Ukrainian Culture was a day packed full of exciting events. We were entertained by the Ukrainian Voices Choir from Brighton. They beautifully performed traditional Ukrainian Christmas carols for us. This was followed by the AUSA Folk Dance Group (part of the Adur Ukraine Support Association), who splendidly performed traditional Ukrainian dances.
Yaroslava Matvieienko treated us to a lecture about Ukrainian art, culture and traditions from early history up to contemporary times.
