On Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 6:00 p.m., the lively party filled Worthing Museum & Gallery with Ukrainian music, flavours, and stories. Hosted in partnership with the Worthing Ukrainian Friends Network, the evening offered a vibrant introduction to Ukrainian culture.
Following a warm welcome, guests savoured a generous, mouth-watering buffet of traditional Ukrainian dishes, fragrant with herbs. Throughout the evening, we mingled with passionate artists showcasing their vibrant and diverse artworks at the museum.
Building on the evening’s vibrant theme, the exhibition “Ukrainian Renaissance: Art, Craft and History” at Worthing Museum & Gallery opened its doors on Saturday, 23rd September 2023, promising a captivating journey until Sunday, 11th February 2024.

We listened to the Ukrainian Voices Choir, who had come over from Brighton for the party. The choir performed beautifully, singing songs spanning traditional and contemporary genres.

This exhibition is an excellent opportunity for us to be better acquainted with our new Ukrainian friends in Worthing.
The exhibition “Ukrainian Renaissance: Art, Craft and History” at Worthing Museum & Gallery opened on Saturday, 23rd September 2023, and will run until Sunday, 11th February 2024. Entry to the museum is free.
