Car For Ukraine – Additional Extremely Urgent Request in Pokrovsk Direction
Second Request Dated 1 October 2024
Oleksiy’s combat unit in the Pokrovsk region has just suffered the devastating loss of its second Ford Ranger in a drone attack. Their first Ford Ranger—a crucial lifeline—is in for repairs. Right now, this brave unit is stranded and facing dangerous missions without any vehicles to shield them.
10 October 2024 – Update on the Second Request
Car For Ukraine has purchased a low-mileage Ford Ranger from the UK at a favourable price for Oleksiy’s unit. Oleksiy is also purchasing a truck in Poland, so the additional vehicle will support his unit’s critical needs. Funds have been transferred in response to the urgent situation. Delivery to Lviv is expected in approximately three weeks, taking into account UK transport, armouring, and mechanical upgrades in Ukraine.

The Car For Ukraine team members come from a variety of backgrounds and sectors, united in their service to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
To support its personnel on the front lines and liberate its country, this NGO has over 50 volunteers based in Ukraine and Europe.
They raise money and buy and convert SUVs for anti-tank and other military missions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They purchase second-hand trucks and SUVs from overseas, modify them for military use, and outfit them with armour protection, turrets for grenade launchers, and other small weapons.
As of 2 November 2025, Car for Ukraine has delivered 761 trucks, totalling more than $ 6.81 million.
