We Were Enchanted by The Beauty of Wrocław
Plac Solny (Solny Square), shown in the header image above, sits just a moment’s walk from Wrocław’s main square. This lively space is now famous for its daily flower market—browse my photo gallery below to see it in full bloom.
In June 2025, my wife and I visited Wrocław Old Town. Our hotel, located on Kiełbaśnicza Street, was a minute’s walk from the main square. We stayed for five nights and, after exploring each day, found ourselves continually enchanted by Wrocław’s charm.

Eating Out in Wrocław Old Town
Eating out in Wrocław Old Town’s restaurants did not strike us as overly expensive. We often found ourselves returning to the two restaurants listed below.
Chatka przy Jatkach. One spot we favoured for a larger evening meal offered traditional Polish cuisine and great hospitality. You’ll find it at Odrzańska Street 7, 50-113, Wrocław Old Town.
Pan Precel serves baked precel snacks as a takeaway, each stuffed with delicious fillings. We appreciated the lovely service and found this spot at 66/67 Ruska Street, 50-079 Wrocław Old Town, Poland. Pan Precel was our go-to for lighter snacks during the day.
