As we celebrate Christmas, I feel this music perfectly celebrates the coming of Jesus Christ.

The two versions of Adoration I would like to share with you are for cello and piano and violin and piano.

About Florence Price

Florence Price was an African American who majored in piano and organ while studying at the England Conservatory of Music.

She produced a wide range of works for the Conservatory, including Adoration. It is frequently used and arranged for various instrument combinations, including violin and piano. Adoration has a devotional quality with its dignified melody and accompanying sombre chords.
