The popular course Are you scam savvy?”  is being offered by West Sussex County Council’s Digital Safety Team at many free in-person and online events.

Anyone who wishes to protect themselves, or friends and family, from falling for various scams, such as phone, courier, and romance fraud – all of which are concerns in West Sussex – can sign up for these complimentary 1.5-hour courses.

  • Tuesday, 5 March: 10 am – 11.30 pm
  • Wednesday, 22 May: 1 pm – 2.30 pm
  • Friday, 5 July: 11 am – 12.30 pm

Staying Safe on The Internet in West Sussex – Sessions both in person and online

For those interested in attending in person, these seminars will be held at three West Sussex Libraries located throughout the county. Sessions start at 10 a.m. on the day of the session. You can just show up on the day ready to start at 10 am.

Those who can only attend virtually must reserve their free ticket on Eventbrite.

  • Friday, 19 April at Crawley Library: 10 am – 11.30 am
  • Monday, 20 May at Bognor Regis Library: 10 am – 11.30 am
  • Monday, 17 June at Shoreham Library: 10 am – 11.30 am
