Polish Emergency Evacuation Trains – Introduction
This post is about the Polish emergency evacuation trains from the three cross-border railway crossings that are served by Ukrainian trains.
These special evacuation trains are a highly organised service run by various Polish railway companies operating within Poland.
The purpose of these special train services is to evacuate refugees from Ukraine, once in Poland, on a speedy basis for onward travel to Polish cities further afield. Some international train connections are also shown.
There are three cross-border railway stations on the Polish side of the Ukrainian border
- Chełm
- Hrubieszów
- Przemyśl
About the train timetables
Easy-to-read railway timetables have been created by volunteers in Poland. Apart from train departures listed from the three stations in the above list, departures from various Ukrainian cities to Poland are also shown.
Please note that the service also provides timetables for trains from Ukraine to the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania.
The daily timetables are in Polish and Ukrainian.
