Many pro-Ukraine website blogs written in English post about the work of volunteers in Ukraine. However, most of these website blogs concentrate on volunteers who are from English-speaking countries. Not much attention is given to the many Ukrainians carrying out equally vital humanitarian work.

Kharkiv’s Power Infrastructure Has Been Destroyed

Kharkiv is Ukraine’s second-largest city, with a pre-war population of 1.419,000 million. The city is in northeastern Ukraine, 30 kilometres (19 miles) from the Russian border. Due to heavy bombing, the city’s power infrastructure is destroyed, and most residents are without power.

Polina, a fellow NAFO fella, fundraises for humanitarian supplies for Kharkiv residents for items such as food, clothing and medicines.
